The Kremlin announces talks between Putin and Vietnamese leader Tu Lam in September

The Kremlin confirmed that Russian President Vladimir Putin will hold talks in the Kremlin on September 9 with the General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam and President Tu Lam.

After the end of the talks, a package of bilateral documents is scheduled to be approved.

Russian Ambassador to Vietnam Gennady Bezdetko said that Moscow and Hanoi will fully discuss the bilateral agenda and new areas of cooperation during Tu Lam's visit to Russia from September 7 to 9.

Bezdetko stressed that the Russian side views the current visit by the Vietnamese leader to Russia as "an important milestone in the development of a comprehensive strategic partnership" between the two countries.

Russian-Vietnamese relations are witnessing dynamic development in various fields, based on a solid foundation of friendship and mutual understanding over many years.
