On August 18, Novaland organized the program "Complete Aqua City - Creating an iconic urban area", with the participation of financial partners, banks and strategic contractors. The event updates legal progress, capital sources, construction and project implementation plans for the period 2026-2027.
Aqua City returns to its development trajectory
Aqua City has a scale of 1,000 hectares and is oriented by Novaland to develop into a riverside ecological urban area in Dong Nai. The project is located in an area that benefits from many infrastructure projects such as Nguyen Huu Canh Avenue, Long Hung Bridge and Long Thanh International Airport.
After legal obstacles are gradually resolved, Novaland coordinates with financial partners and contractors to accelerate project completion. Currently, more than 4,000 engineers, workers and hundreds of contractors, consultants and partners are participating in the construction.
Many housing items, technical infrastructure, landscapes and utilities are deployed simultaneously in the Sun Harbor, Ever Green and Phoenix Island subdivisions.
According to Novaland, as of mid-August, financial institutions committed to sponsoring more than VND 20,000 billion to deploy and complete Aqua City in the period 2026-2027. Of this amount, VND 5,444 billion has been disbursed.
The project aims to deliver more than 9,000 products, while continuing to deploy educational, medical, and entertainment amenities, thereby gradually perfecting the urban ecosystem.
To date, the urban area has handed over about 1,300 townhouses and villas and continues to welcome residents to live. Some operating amenities include Aqua Marina, Nova Mall, sports center, clubhouse, riverside park, restaurant chain and Cafe Casa.
At the end of July, the first residents at Aqua City were handed over certificates of land use rights and ownership of assets attached to the land. The two component projects at Aqua City also have more than 1,000 additional houses eligible for business.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Cao Tran Duy Nam, Deputy General Director of Novaland, said that the business wants to build a network of strategic contractors with financial and construction capacity and commitment to quality and progress to accompany the roadmap to 2032.
According to Mr. Nam, Novaland currently has a portfolio of more than 57 projects, with a scale of about 10,600 hectares, a total investment of about 442,000 billion VND, expected to start and complete in the period 2027-2032. Aqua City is considered one of the opening projects for this acceleration period.
Partners add resources to the project
At the event, representatives of MB, VPBank and VietinBank said they would continue to accompany Novaland through appropriate financial and credit solutions, contributing to additional resources to deploy Aqua City.
Representatives of banks believe that credit capital focused on projects with clear legalities and practical implementation will contribute to improving the efficiency of capital use, promoting production and business activities and creating more motivation for industries in the supply chain.
MB representative assessed that Aqua City has advantages in terms of location, scale and orientation for developing riverside ecological urban areas. When completed, the project is expected to attract residents, experts and human resources to live and work, thereby promoting trade and services in the area.
In addition to capital, contractors also commit to continue mobilizing personnel and technology to meet project progress.
"We are committed to continuing to mobilize a team of engineers, experts and appropriate construction technology to ensure quality and construction progress, and accompany Novaland to complete Aqua City as planned," said representative of contractor Ho Team.
Mr. Duong Van Bac, General Director of Novaland, said that the new movements at Aqua City demonstrate efforts to bring the project back to the development trajectory and fulfill commitments to customers.
"We are grateful to the Government, central agencies and local authorities for removing bottlenecks, thereby creating conditions for businesses to free up resources and continue implementing projects," Mr. Bac said.
According to Novaland leaders, the companionship of financial partners, contractors, consultants and customers is the driving force for the business to continue perfecting Aqua City, aiming to form a modern riverside ecological urban area in Dong Nai.
