Chen Bolin often watched his mother draw when he was a child, and became interested in "drawing". Later, he participated in the Kaohsiung City Education Bureau's Youth Skills Training Program and became the first batch of young contestants to enter Kaohsiung Institute of Technology to receive skills training after the program was launched. From CAD software, 3D modeling to engineering drawings, he gradually turned his interest into professional skills.
Chen Bolin once participated in the youth group of the 52nd National Skills Competition and won 4th place; however, after he transferred to the youth group the following year, he was eliminated in the regional competition and did not even get a ticket for the national competition. Faced with setbacks, he chose to return to the computer and repeatedly practiced modeling, engineering drawings and dimensional tolerances, identifying deficiencies and correcting them one by one.
After a year of continuous hard work, Chen Bolin won the gold medal in the CAD Youth Group in the 54th National Skills Competition. After obtaining the qualification of national player, the training intensity was further increased and he conducted training exchanges with Switzerland, France, Japan, South Korea, the United Arab Emirates and other countries.
This time, after four days and 22 hours of high-intensity competition in Shanghai, China, we finally won the bronze medal in the CAD category. Behind the glory are the previous national players Zhang Renjie, Liu Guanwei and the guidance team who have accompanied him all the way. In addition, Ji Junyan, who graduated from the Department of Electrical Engineering of Kaohsiung Institute of Technology, also represented Taiwan and won the 7th place in the electrical assembly competition this year.
Before the international competition, Chen Bolin won the championship of the 54th National Skills Competition, represented Taiwan and obtained the right to participate in the 48th International Skills Competition, and was praised by President Lai Ching-te.
