Calitri: attacked with a hammer by her ex-partner, 28 year old in hospital

She was attacked with a hammer by her ex-partner and ended up in hospital with a guarded prognosis, but her life is not in danger. It happened late yesterday evening in Calitri (Avellino): the woman, a 28-year-old of Tunisian nationality, had decided to end the relationship with a fellow countryman of the same age, who broke into the young woman's house and hit her on the head with a hammer. It was the neighbors, attracted by the screams coming from the house, who alerted the police. After hitting the woman, the 28-year-old Tunisian fled, but was tracked down and stopped.
