The Charlie Kirk murder case has entered another closely watched phase after Tyler Robinson pleaded not guilty to all charges connected to the fatal shooting. The courtroom development quickly drew attention from Candace Owens, who has repeatedly questioned the official narrative surrounding Kirk’s death. Following the hearing, Owens issued a forceful statement aimed at critics and warned that what she described as false claims would eventually face scrutiny.

Robinson, a Utah native accused of killing Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk, entered his plea during a court hearing. The case now moves toward another major hearing scheduled for October 23, when a trial date is expected to be set. The plea has become a major talking point online, particularly because of Owens’ long-running criticism of the case. Owens has publicly challenged parts of the investigation and questioned claims surrounding Robinson’s arrest and alleged statements. After the hearing, she shared footage of the proceedings and sharply criticized people she believes had presented the case as settled before a trial. “Go find every single worthless influencer who lied and gaslit you for months about this case, claiming that Tyler Robinson turned himself in and subsequently admitted his guilt.” Owens continued her argument by focusing on the principle that an accused person is entitled to a fair trial. “We simply do not hate these people enough. What they actually want is for the American court process to run ‘guilty until proven innocent’. It is utterly monstrous to insist that someone should be put be death before they are given a fair trial. And while a few of these influencers do it out of sincere stupidity, the majority of them do it for money...” Her comments have added another layer to an already highly publicized case.

Owens did not stop at criticizing social media commentators. She suggested that the upcoming proceedings would eventually provide a clearer picture of the competing claims surrounding Kirk’s death. “We are at the beginning of this trial and every one of their lies will be exposed by the end of it.” The statement prompted sharply divided reactions online. Some users backed Owens’ insistence on due process, while others argued that Robinson’s plea should not be interpreted as evidence that previous allegations or evidence presented by prosecutors were false. That distinction is important. A not-guilty plea is a formal response to criminal charges. It does not by itself determine whether the accused committed the crime. The prosecution must still prove its case in court, while Robinson remains entitled to the presumption of innocence throughout the legal process.
