Candidate Augusto Cury from Avante starts campaign in Pernambuco and heads to Bahia

Candidate Augusto Cury, from Avante, started the day in Pernambuco.

Augusto Cury met with supporters and leaders at an Avante committee, in the South Zone of Recife. The candidate defended the export of green hydrogen, a fuel produced by renewable sources. It also proposed expanding irrigation in the Brazilian semi-arid region, through precision technologies and water reuse; and said that, by offering legal security, it intends to attract international investments to boost fruit production and exports:

"We need to embrace the Northeast, embrace the semi-arid region. And we have to have legal security and predictable contracts. Otherwise, no one will put their money in a country where you have no return capacity. We need to bring money insured in dollars and we also need technology to be a first world country."

From Pernambuco, Augusto Cury went to Bahia, where he continued his agenda. In the evening, Cury participated in a service at the Lírio dos Vales Baptist Church, in Salvador.
