Debate of the Amazon Network brings together candidates for the Senate for Acre in Rio Branco

Eduardo Velloso (Solidariedade) also recognized the importance of participating in the debate and said that the expectation is to show your ideas. "My main agenda is health, it is the biggest problem in the state of Acre, and today we have to show what we can really do and change the lives of the population", he stated.

Upon arrival at the station, Professor Inácio Moreira (PSOL) highlighted the scope of a debate between the candidates and mentioned that participation equals the opportunities for exposing ideas. "Today the question time and the answer time are the same. I want to make the best of it, because I come from a real world", he compared.

Candidate Jorge Viana (PT) highlighted the importance of the position of senator during his arrival for the debate and spoke about his expectations for the meeting.

"There [Senado] Acre is the size of São Paulo. All a good expectation, because the population has to ask themselves who is the best person, the most experienced to represent us in the Senate", he declared.

Candidates from parties and federations with a minimum representation of five parliamentarians in the National Congress or who reached at least 5% of voting intentions in the first Quaest survey released in August were invited.

The debate will be mediated by Fabiano Villela and will be based on:

questions among the candidates, which will be drawn during the program;

themes of free choice; and

specific themes of interest to the voter.
