Candidates for the government of Roraima reached the final stretch of the 2026 Elections after 49 days of campaigning with agendas distributed in different ways across the state. Arthur Henrique (PL) toured the 13 municipalities in the interior. Soldado Sampaio (Republicans) visited at least 10 regions and shared electoral commitments with the interim governor's agenda. Rosi Aires (PSOL) was also in 10 municipalities, in addition to the capital Boa Vista.

This year, Farah Mesquita (Solidariedade) and Clébio Genuíno (PCO) are also competing for the government. The two, however, had few public campaign actions. Farah focused her activities on publications on social media. Clébio informed g1 that he was no longer a candidate, but his name remains as "running" in the Superior Electoral Court (TSE) system.

The campaign also marked the continuation of a dispute that began in June. Arthur Henrique and Soldado Sampaio ran for government in the supplementary election held on the 21st. Arthur obtained 60% of the valid votes, but the result was not defined by the Electoral Court because the registration of the candidacy was sub judice. Sampaio came in second, with 35%.

Now, the two are once again competing for the government of Roraima alongside three other candidates. In the two Quaest polls commissioned by Rede Amazônica, Arthur and Sampaio appear ahead of the other candidates.

Arthur Henrique registered 60% of voting intentions in the first survey and 57% in the second. Sampaio had 27% in the first, and got 32% in the second.

See below a summary of each candidate's campaign, in the order presented in the latest Quaest survey:

Arthur Henrique

During the campaign, Arthur Henrique toured the 13 municipalities in the interior of Roraima, participated in walks and meetings, gave interviews, went to the Rede Amazônica debate, and met with other candidates and supporters. The candidate did not go to Normandy, as he had done in the supplementary election campaign.

Former mayor of the capital for the last five years, Arthur focused the campaign in the interior of the state, where he visited villages and communities, and had the support of former governor Antonio Denarium. His candidate for vice is businessman Haroldo Cathedral (Novo) and campaigned with the slogan "let's solve it".

In addition, he also participated in a rally in Boa Vista alongside the country's presidential candidate Flávio Bolsonaro (PL), and the Senate candidates for Roraima and party colleagues, Nicoletti and Hélio Fernando Barbosa Lopes, known as Hélio Bolsonaro.

Among the candidate's main proposals are the recovery of local roads and the replacement of wooden bridges with concrete structures in the state.

"We are going to implement the largest roadside recovery program in the state's history. It means doing a job well done. It's the governor watching closely, like we did in Boa Vista", declared the candidate after detailing the drainage problems in the interior.

For Health, he promised to create a governor's office within the Roraima General Hospital (HGR), the largest high-complexity unit in the state. His idea is to closely monitor the professionals' routine and identify operational bottlenecks in surgical centers.

The candidate also said that he intends to modernize care with the implementation of a unified electronic medical record. The tool aims to replace paper records, provide transparency to surgery waiting lists and facilitate joint efforts with temporarily hired specialists.

He also talked about replacing wooden bridges with concrete in the state and investing in technical secondary education.

On the last day of the campaign, this Thursday (1st), Arthur Henrique made posts on social media asking for votes for PL candidates for the Chamber of Deputies and the Legislative Assembly.

He ended the day with a walk in the Pérola neighborhood square, in the West zone, alongside supporters such as his vice president, his wife, Nathália Cortez, Denarium and the current mayor of the capital, Marcelo Zeitoune (PL) and Hélio Lopes. Arthur competes in the "Unidos Por Roraima" coalition, which brings together the PL and Novo parties.

Soldier Sampaio

Sampaio divided his campaign agenda with his commitments as interim governor. He fulfilled schedules in the municipalities of Cantá, Caracaraí, Caroebe, Iracema, Mucajaí, Normandia, Rorainópolis, São João da Baliza, São Luiz do Anauá and Uiramutã, according to official commitments sent to Rede Amazônica. There are no records of his visits to Alto Alegre, Amajari, Bonfim and Pacaraima.

Furthermore, during the campaign, he said several times that he was right-wing and campaigned alongside Senator Damares Alves (Republicanos-DF) in view of her going to Roraima. He did not participate in Flávio Bolsonaro's rally in Boa Vista.

His running mate is the former federal deputy, Shéridan Ramos (Podemos). The candidate has stated several times in campaign commitments that he is the "Soldier of the People".

Most of the candidate's campaign agendas took place in the capital. He also participated in interviews promoted by Rede Amazônica and in the debate between the candidates. Sampaio has been in charge of the state for 154 days, and this period of management was mentioned in different campaign events.

"In 100 days, I have already done much more for the health of our people than they did," said the governor on social media.

Among the proposals presented by the candidate during the campaign are the creation of a border monitoring network using technology and the holding of lectures in schools and churches to combat violence against women.

In an interview with Rede Amazônica, he also discussed land regularization and land management, the expansion of social benefits to drive local commerce, the holding of public competitions for the areas of security, health and education and support for federal regulation of mining operated by cooperatives in the state.

He also said that he intends to promote actions to combat the entry of factions into the state through border areas and implement the "Bolsa Macuxi" program to combat school dropouts.

On the last day of the campaign, this Thursday, Sampaio participated in political meetings of supporters, such as candidates for state deputy Dr. Claudio Cirurgião (Republicanos) and Cláudio da Xarme (Podemos), in Boa Vista. He ended the day at a political meeting organized by him and Senate candidate Helena da Asatur (PSD).

Sampaio is running with the "Roraima Segue em Frente" coalition, made up of the Republican, Podemos, Agir, PSD and Progressive Union Federation parties.

Rosi Aires

During the campaign, the candidate focused her agendas on municipalities and indigenous communities in the Raposa Serra do Sol and Baixo São Marcos Indigenous Land regions. She supports and campaigns for the current president and candidate for re-election, Lula (PT).

He participated in commitments in the municipalities of Amajari, Normandia, Rorainópolis, São Luiz do Anauá, Bonfim, Alto Alegre, Mucajaí, Iracema, Cantá and Boa Vista. There are no records of it in Caracaraí, Caroebe, Pacaraima, São João da Baliza and Uiramutã.

In the capital, Rosi focused the campaign on peripheral neighborhoods, such as Senador Hélio Campos, Laura Moreira, Cruviana and Equatorial, in the West zone.

In addition, he also participated in meetings to support family farming, conversations with peasant farmers, leafleting, interviews and visits to supporters.

Rosi defends raising funds directly from the Federal Government to restructure the physical network of health units in the state. In the environmental area, he said he was against illegal mining and argued that the activity contaminates rivers and destroys indigenous lands.

"I defend President Lula's social and government programs. In health, Mais Médicos, Samu and UPAs. In education, Pé-de-Meia, technical schools and universities," he said.

The candidate also proposed the creation of the Federal Indigenous University in Uiramutã and the expansion of bilingual intercultural education. Rosi also said he was in favor of the legal expansion of protected and indigenous areas, transparency in public accounts and the fight against corruption.

Her vice-president is Lúcia Patamona (PSOL). The two compete in the "Roraima da Esperança" coalition, made up of the Brazilian Federation of Hope (PT/PCdoB/PV) and the PSOL Rede Federation (PSOL and Rede).
