Candidates for the Maranhão government present proposals for public finances and fiscal balance

Candidates for the government of Maranhão Eduardo Braide (PSD), Felipe Camarão (PT), Roberto Rocha (PRTB) and Saulo Arcângeli (PSTU) fulfilled campaign commitments this Tuesday (15). During the agendas, they presented proposals for public finances and the State's fiscal balance.

Among the proposals presented are changes in tax collection, review of loans, digitalization of public management and reduction of government spending.

Saulo Arcângeli participated in an act by bank employees on strike in front of a Caixa Econômica Federal branch, in Praça Deodoro, in the center of São Luís. During the event, the candidate spoke with supporters and spoke about public finances and fiscal balance.

Arcângeli stated that, if elected, he intends to review loans made by previous governments and expand popular participation in decisions about the state budget.

"In our government, we are going to end these privileges. Review all loans that were made by governments, guarantee transparency with popular participation in the budget, because fiscal balance is to guarantee resources for working people, not for large enterprises."

In the early afternoon of this Tuesday (15), Saulo Arcângeli also participated in the series of interviews with candidates for the government of Maranhão shown on JM1, on TV Mirante. For 30 minutes, he answered questions from journalists and students from public and private universities.
