Candidates fulfill campaign agendas in Maranhão with a focus on economic development

Among the activities were visits to quilombola communities, meetings with political leaders, motorcycle rides and presentation of proposals for the state's economic development.

The first round of elections will be held on October 4th. The second round, if necessary, is scheduled for October 25th.

See below how each candidate's campaign day went, in alphabetical order:

André Luís canceled, due to health problems, his campaign schedule that he would have in the morning in the capital. In the afternoon, he participated in an online meeting with political leaders.

During the agenda, the candidate presented proposals aimed at generating work and income and industrialization. He stated that he intends to invest in the economic development of municipalities based on local vocations and expand the industrialization of Maranhão products to increase the presence of these items in the regional market.

During the agenda, he presented proposals for economic development. The candidate stated that he intends to attract industries through tax incentives and cited the Export Processing Zone and the exploration of the Equatorial Margin among the measures that, according to him, can contribute to the generation of jobs and the economic development of the state.

Reginaldo Lima completed a schedule in quilombola communities in Cantanhede, in the east of the state, where he spent the day visiting residents alongside political allies.
