Gyeongju Cultural Foundation, creative musical ‘Gwanghwamun Sonata’ performed at Gyeongju Arts Center on November 28-29

The Gyeongju Cultural Foundation announced on the 25th that it will hold a performance of the original musical 'Gwanghwamun Sonata' at the Gyeongju Arts Center on November 28th and 29th at 2:00 PM and 6:30 PM.

This performance is hosted by Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power, the Arts Management Support Center, Gyeongju City, and organized by the Gyeongju Cultural Foundation to introduce excellent performances to the region.

The musical Gwanghwamun Sonata is a jukebox musical that tells the story of composer Myeong-woo, who wakes up in the 'Exhibition Hall of Memories' one minute before his death, and travels through his memories of the age of 20 under the guidance of the fateful magician Wolha.

A jukebox musical refers to a musical composed of well-known songs as if they were coming out of a jukebox, a machine that plays songs when money is placed.

This work is composed mainly of various songs by the late composer Lee Young-hoon.

The organizers announced that songs that have been loved for a long time, including Gwanghwamun Sonata, Old Love, When Love Passes, Standing Under the Shade of Street Trees, and Red Sunset, are naturally incorporated into the flow of the play.

This performance will feature actors with both talent and popularity, including Son Jun-ho, Lee Seok-hoon, Enoch, Cha Ji-yeon, and Seo Eunkwang.
