Buk-gu, Ulsan, holds the 23rd Muryong Arts Festival from October 7 to 24

(Ulsan = Yonhap News) Reporter Jang Ji-hyeon = The 23rd Muryong Arts Festival will be held at the Buk-gu Culture and Arts Center in Ulsan from October 7 to 24.

According to Buk-gu on the 25th, this year's arts festival will feature six performances including popular music, classical music, traditional art, and theater, as well as special exhibitions by British contemporary artists.

It will open at 7:30 pm on October 7 with a performance by singer Kim Ki-tae, winner of ‘Singer Gain 2’.

At 5 p.m. on the 11th, Luce String Ensemble's 'Bukgu Concerto Series 1' will be held, and at 7:30 p.m. on the 14th, a traditional art performance 'Jaranjeon' with commentary by Lee Seon-sook Pansori Institute will be held.

At 5 p.m. on the 17th, 'Van Gogh, Painting Through Music, A Starry Night' will be performed, depicting the life and works of painter Vincent van Gogh through music. Baritone Ko Seong-hyun and others will appear.

At 7:30 pm on the 20th, a live video of the Japanese puppet theater troupe Musubizwa's performance of 'Pinocchio' will be screened.

It will end with ‘Beyond Arirang,’ a play based on Arirang, at 7pm on the 24th.

During the art festival, Julian Opie and Michael Craig Martin's special exhibition 'WORK, WALK, WONDER' will be held for free.

The admission fee for Kim Ki-tae's performance, 'Van Gogh Painted Through Music, Starry Night', and 'Beyond Arirang' is 10,000 won for all seats, and the rest are free.
