Castramóvel distributes 150 tokens and serves dogs and cats of residents of Bebedouro, in Maceió

Maceió City Hall informed that Castramóvel will serve dogs and cats belonging to residents of the Flexal region, in the Bebedouro neighborhood, on the 16th, 19th and 20th of October (check the instructions for participating in the action at the end of the text). In total, 150 tokens will be distributed, 50 per day.

Each form will give the right to neuter one animal per family. To participate, the guardian must present an identification document with photo and proof of residence.

According to the Extraordinary Secretariat for Animal Welfare of Maceió (Sebama), the service will be held on Rua Tobias Barreto, from 8 am to 2 pm.

The animals will undergo screening with the veterinary team, who will perform a clinical evaluation and blood collection. After evaluation and analysis of the exams, owners will be informed whether the animals are suitable for castration.

Recommendations

Cats must be transported in carriers.

Dogs must be on a leash and muzzle.

Animals that can be neutered

Males: from 8 months to 5 years of age.

Females: from 6 months to 5 years of age.

Animals that cannot be neutered

Brachycephalic animals (with a short snout).

Animals weighing more than 15 kg.

Females in heat, in the lactation period, less than 45 days after giving birth or with suspected or confirmed pregnancy.

Animals with a history of seizures or epilepsy.

Animals of the following breeds: Yorkshire, Lhasa Apso, Shih-tzu, Pug, French Bulldog, English Bulldog, Maltese, Boxer, Pekingese, Poodle, German Spitz and Persian cat.
