CBO: Cost of Operation Against Iran Reached 38 Billion Dollars

The US Congressional Budget Office (CBO) estimated the cost of the operation launched against Iran at the end of February under the name "Operation Epic Rage"; It was examined in 4 main categories: operational expenses, opportunity costs, economic impacts and possible additional expenses.

In the report published by CBO, the operational cost of the armed conflict with Iran was estimated to be approximately 38 billion dollars as of August 1.

In the report, the cost in question; It was stated that this was due to the replacement of consumed ammunition, equipment lost in combat, increased flight hours, field operations and rising fuel costs.

USA'S AMMUNITION STOCKS WILL BE WEAK

The report suggested that declining inventories will weaken the US inventory for several years.

It was stated that this vulnerability could create serious security risks, especially in possible crises with countries such as China, which have large ballistic and cruise missile arsenals.
