Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz made a statement about the work carried out regarding the fund investigation and the regulations regarding the capital markets. Yılmaz stated that the process regarding problematic funds will accelerate further after the bill that is expected to be discussed in the Parliament next week.

NEW STEPS FOR PROBLEMED FUNDS

"Necessary steps are being taken regarding problematic funds. The process will accelerate further after the bill proposal, which is expected to be discussed in our parliament next week. On the one hand, the structure of our capital markets is strengthened by liquidating the problematic funds through ordinary and extraordinary procedures, on the other hand, the necessary administrative steps are being taken to prevent similar problems from occurring again. Preparations for the bill that envisages structural improvements in our capital markets in the coming period are also continuing comprehensively. We will continue to strengthen the capital markets, which we see as an important element of our development policies, with administrative decisions and legal regulations within the framework of international standards, within the framework of international standards."

In Yılmaz's statement, it was emphasized that in addition to the liquidation of problematic funds, administrative steps were taken to prevent similar problems from occurring again.
