Husband of the mayor of Bauru, government secretary is arrested at home during Gaeco operation

This morning, agents carried out search warrants at the residence of Mayor Suéllen Rosim (PSD) and also on the premises of the Bauru City Hall building.

The action is an offshoot of "Operation Trojan Horse", an investigation that had already resulted in the arrest of former secretaries linked to the municipal administration.

In an official note, Bauru City Hall confirmed that the Gaeco operation was carried out on the Executive's premises, but reported that it has not yet had access to the details of the investigation.

"To date, the Municipality has not been officially informed about the object of the action. The City Hall remains at the disposal of the competent authorities to collaborate with whatever is necessary and provide any clarifications requested", says the statement.
