Hong Jiayuan said that the Taichung District Prosecutor's Office has comprehensively strengthened its election inspections in order to clean up the election style. In addition, 14 cases of election betting on the new blockchain platform Polymarket that attempted to influence the election have been quickly detected and dealt with with deferred prosecution, so as to immediately curb the harm of illegal election betting on the election style.

Hong Jiayuan emphasized that the procuratorate, police, investigation, integrity, and immigration authorities have fully launched the investigation mechanism, and will rigorously collect evidence and actively enforce the law to prevent any illegal attempts to undermine the fairness of the election. In addition to closely investigating illegal activities such as traditional cash vote-buying, gifts, meals, and violent election promotion, election gambling, false information and AI deep fake technology, and foreign power-funded election promotion and other emerging election-obstructing methods have been listed as key inspection targets.
