At about 12 noon today, a man surnamed Li in New Taipei City was riding a motorcycle at the intersection of Guangfu Road and Guanghua Street in Zhonghe District. He was found to be shaking by patrolling police and stopped for inspection. However, Li refused to check and sped away for nearly 1 kilometer. He also ran a red light and injured a rider surnamed Fu. The police who were chasing him immediately suppressed Mr. Li and found zombie cigarette cartridges. The rapid drug saliva test showed a positive result and he was transferred to investigation.

According to an investigation by the Zhonghe Police Station, 36-year-old Suspect Li was passing by the intersection of Guangfu Road and Guanghua Street in Zhonghe. He was riding a motorcycle and was shaking. The patrol police noticed something strange and stopped him. However, Suspect Li refused to cooperate and instead accelerated the accelerator to escape. When he reached the 350 lane entrance of Zhonghe Road in violation of regulations, he collided with a 48-year-old knight surnamed Fu who was going straight on the green light. The police immediately stepped forward to suppress Suspect Li.

According to the investigation, Fu Nan suffered a slight scratch on his left foot and was not sent to the hospital; while Su Su Li was not injured. He later admitted that he was carrying an etomidate cigarette cartridge, commonly known as a "zombie cigarette cartridge," and would only run away when he saw the police guilty. A quick drug saliva test showed a positive result for the second-level drug amphetamine. The police seized 2 electronic cigarette main units and 2 etomidate cartridges, and then handcuffed him and arrested him.

The police pointed out that after the police inquiry of the whole case, Suspect Li was transferred to the New Taipei District Prosecutor's Office for investigation in accordance with the Public Dangerous Crimes of the Criminal Law and the Drug Harm Prevention and Control Regulations. In addition, for the drug driving part, a report was made and his vehicle was seized in accordance with the provisions of Article 35, Paragraph 1, Paragraph 2 of the Road Traffic Management Punishment Regulations. For the violation of refusal to inspect and escape, the surveillance camera will be used to collect evidence and then reported in accordance with the law.
