What does the final circuit look like?
The Côte Camillien-Houde (1.6 km at 7.5% average) will be the main difficulty of the day for the runners. But the circuit will include three other steep slopes: Chemin de la Polytechnique (780 m at 6%, including 200 m at 11%), Avenue Pagnuelo (534 m at 7.5% average) and Avenue du Parc to finish (around 600 m at 4%).
All on a 13.4 km loop around Mount Royal, taken 12 times. 3,803 meters of positive altitude difference await the runners, which brings this edition closer to a Liège-Bastogne-Liège, and which explains why the grand tour runners are favorites.
