‘People losing faith in govt’: CJP founder Abhijit Dipke backs Manoj Jarange Patil’s protest CHHATRAPATI SAMBHAJINAGAR: Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder Abhijit Dipke has extended his support to Maratha quota activist Manoj Jarange Patil, saying people are increasingly losing faith in the government over concerns related to education and employment. Dipke said protesting was always a “last option” after repeated requests and appeals failed to get a response from the government. “Somewhere down the line, a feeling has taken root in the minds of the people of this country that the government has completely failed to provide a quality education and employment opportunities to their children. People are steadily losing faith in the government, which is why Manoj sir (Manoj Jarange Patil) has been forced to sit in protest,” Dipke told news agency ANI. Dipke said Jarange Patil’s protest was focused on seeking quality education for children from the Maratha community. “Nobody enjoys protesting. A protest is always the very last option. When you talk, when you make requests, and even after all that, no one listens and the government turns a deaf ear, only then, out of sheer helplessness, is a person forced to protest,” he added. “What Manoj sir is doing is simply demanding quality education for the children of the Maratha community. That is the single biggest and most pressing issue today,” he said. Dipke also said he would meet Jarange Patil and extend his support to the ongoing protest. “I will definitely go and meet him. Just as he came to Delhi to support us, it is our duty to stand by him as well,” Dipke futhur added.(With agency inputs)
