Murder confession in Turin: 'I killed him involuntarily during an argument'

Yes I killed him, but unintentionally. It certainly wasn't planned, it was part of an argument while taking drugs for days. This is the confession made to the investigating judge by Christian Matheus De Oliveira Morando, 26 years old, arrested for the murder of Fabio Colapietro, found dead in pieces two nights ago in an apartment in Turin. This is reported by the lawyer Wilmer Perga.

The judge would have asked the arrested person if he put his arm around the victim's neck, hinting at a potential cause of death: "He says he absolutely doesn't remember, then they gave him mouth-to-mouth resuscitation and cardiac massage" adds the defender.

Again according to the lawyer, De Oliveira reconstructed the facts before the judge: on 20 September he went with Keith Butig (22 years old) to the Turin house of Nicole Formichetti (47) for a party. Once the victim arrived, Fabio Colapietro (39), considered "the little horse of a drug dealer who knows the teacher, they began to consume all types of substances, day and night. The next day he wakes up and they tell him that the victim had stolen perhaps 50 euros from him, a fight ensues in which everyone fights, so Colapietro falls and dies.

"He told me very confusing things: that he was desperate, he kept crying, saying things... he was upset, so I didn't understand. He made it clear that something very serious had happened, but I told him that he had to call the police and he had to talk to the police, that he had to do the right thing, that's all." So Christian Matheus De Oliveira Morando's mother on the intercom. "I don't know, I don't know any of the people he hangs out with. I hang out with completely different people. He hadn't lived here forever," the woman said.

Last Thursday evening, the woman explained on the intercom, "he told me where he was, but he wasn't at the person's address (later found dead and torn to pieces, ed.). He told me to go to the Rebaudengo area and I found them in Piazza Rebaudengo and from there I begged him to call the police."

"It was he himself who called the police from his phone, it wasn't me as you are putting in the newspapers. But when he spoke to 112, he spoke very agitatedly, he couldn't be understood well. They asked him if anyone was there and he said 'my mother is here'. He handed me the phone and then I spoke, saying 'come here, because my son has hurt someone'. They asked me 'what?' and I said 'I don't know, come and ask him directly'".
