Jacopo Trabattoni, a 15-year-old from Lodi Vecchio, died of electrocution, probably during a social challenge

Jacopo Trabattoni, a 15-year-old from Lodi, whose body was found last night in the fields in the Bottedo area of ​​Lodi Vecchio, most likely died due to a game or a social challenge. According to an initial reconstruction, the young man would have climbed a 20 meter high pylon of the electricity grid, presumably to take a selfie and his body was recovered by the firefighters. The body would show signs of electrocution.

The hypothesis is that it may also have been a game or social challenge.

The disappearance of Jacopo Trabattoni had already been reported yesterday evening by his mother who had not seen him return home, before the discovery of his body which occurred around 9.30pm in the countryside between Lodi and Lodi Vecchio, in the Bottedo area.

At the moment in which the death probably occurred, there was a drop in voltage in the area on the electricity line which crossed a large area between the fields and the surrounding houses.

The body has now been taken to the Institute of Forensic Medicine in Pavia to await the autopsy ordered by the Lodi Prosecutor's Office directed by Laura Pedio.
