Risk of Heavy Rain and Storm in the Marmara Region Warned

According to the statement made by the General Directorate of Meteorology, it is estimated that showers and thunderstorms will be heavy in Marmara tomorrow, in the northern parts of Istanbul, Kocaeli and Balıkesir and in the east of Çanakkale, starting from the evening hours.

On the other hand, it is predicted that the rains will be heavy in the east of Marmara, Kocaeli, Bursa, Yalova, Bilecik and Sakarya surroundings and in Istanbul, especially in the northern and eastern parts, starting from the night hours.

It is necessary to be careful and cautious against negativities such as floods, inundations, transportation disruptions, lightning, strong winds during rainfall and storms in coastal areas.
