若單看商品價格,Uber Eats約比門市貴12%,DoorDash約貴11%,Instacart則高出約24%。其中Uber Eats與DoorDash的價格相對接近,而Instacart則明顯較高。
進一步把銷售稅、平台費用、小費及折扣全部算進去後,價差更加明顯。Costco門市購物總額為318.88美元(約新台幣1萬110元),Uber Eats為373.20美元(約新台幣1萬1832元),DoorDash為328.27美元(約新台幣1萬408元),Instacart則達419.36美元(約新台幣1萬3296元)。
這次測試中,DoorDash成為最便宜的外送選項,主要是因為目前針對Costco訂單提供50美元折扣(約新台幣1585元),活動持續至11月。如果沒有這項折扣,DoorDash的總成本將升至378.27美元(約新台幣1萬1993元),與門市價格相比將多出近60美元(約新台幣1902元)。
相較之下,Instacart仍是最昂貴的選擇,最終總價約比直接到Costco門市購物高出32%。因此,對於願意花錢換取便利的消費者而言,外送是否划算,除了平台本身的商品價格,也與當下是否有折扣活動密切相關。
