According to the source, the American newspaper's material "exaggerates" the real state of affairs.

The channel's interlocutor added that although the Canadian authorities really strive to further deepen ties with the EU, efforts aimed at this will be made within the framework of the agreements reached at the EU-Canada summit in Brussels last year.
