President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan met with his economic staff in Beştepe to evaluate the developments in the capital markets recently. The critical meeting lasted 3 hours.

As AK Party, we are one of the largest and strongest political movements not only in Türkiye but also in the world, with our members reaching 11 million 710 thousand. I cannot praise God Almighty enough. We are walking the path with a magnificent organization that is unique in the world with its diligence, sincerity, and love of serving its country and nation.
First of all, today, once again, I would like to congratulate every member of our organization who works devotedly day and night to grow and strengthen our organization, and especially to keep our youth in their hearts. Because of their service, their efforts and of course their sincerity, God Almighty has given them such excitement and enthusiasm that we say yes, the road cannot be worn down by walking, and you continue on this path by walking these roads without hesitation. I thank you wholeheartedly.
"I WANT TO TALK ABOUT SOME ISSUES WITH AN OPEN HEART"
I am honored to be with you in the 182nd edition of our Extended Provincial Presidents Meeting. I pray to God that our meeting will bring goodness to our party, our country, our nation and our democracy. I would like to thank each of you in advance for your contributions to our meeting with your valuable ideas, criticisms and observations. I pray that God bless our love and solidarity forever. My dear companions, today I would like to talk to you about some issues frankly. I want to have a sincere account, commiserate, and chat with you without putting a pillar between my heart.
"WE CARRY THE BURDEN OF BOTH THE PAST AND THE FUTURE"
Now, my dear brothers and sisters, there is an issue that I always underline regarding our AK Party. We inherited this movement from our predecessors. Don't forget. We carry a legacy. When the time comes, we will hand over this sacred trust to those who come after us, hopefully with glory, honor and the peace of mind of doing our duty properly. The history of this movement dates back centuries. Hopefully, this movement will exist as long as the world exists.
Look, we don't just carry the burden of today, this moment, on our shoulders. We carry the burden of the past, present and future. I always say that anyone who believes that this movement is self-contained is greatly mistaken. "Without me, this movement would not exist." If anyone says or thinks like this, they are in great heedlessness. If anyone believes that the mistake he made is limited to himself and that he depends only on his own luck, he is also in a big mistake.
We founded it to defend the rights, law and honor of those poor people, those poor people who earned and spent their fair share and were crushed by the gears of the old system, and to always keep their heads up. We are here to protect the rights of the poor and the poor. We are doing politics for this purpose. We will struggle for this until the Commandment of God comes true. AK Party started its journey on August 14, 2001 as the party of the poor, the oppressed, the victimized, the stranded, the pushed, the marginalized, the forgotten. The AK Party's mission has not changed one bit for a quarter of a century. Hopefully it will never change.
"NO ONE CAN COME BETWEEN US AND OUR CASE OF SERVICE TO THE NATION"
No one can come between us and our cause of service to the nation, the ummah and humanity. I want everyone to know this very, very well. We are today what we were yesterday. We are the same today as we were when we were founded. Our goal is the same today as it was 25 years ago. Our goal will remain the same tomorrow. My brothers, remember, we are the party of those who wet their prayer rugs with tears, of those who go door to door to win another heart, of those who hit the road in the rain, snow, and in the scorching heat of summer, of those who sacrifice their families, children, jobs, and strength for the success of this movement, and of tens of millions who turn the ballot box into a holiday place in every election. The AK Party is a political movement that this nation founded, grew, brought to this day with all due diligence, supported and prayed for in the most critical times, and protected it at the expense of its life when necessary. Of course, in such a large movement, such a crowded movement, there may be people with very different identities, different characters, and people acting with different intentions. There may be people who carry different agendas and have different agendas.
Look, we've seen all kinds of examples of this in 25 years. Some people felt dizzy. Some people fell into the trap of arrogance. Some people put their personal cause before the cause of the nation and the ummah. Some people lost their way. Some people became slaves of their souls. The devil deceived some people. Some people have infiltrated us specifically to pollute this sacred movement, this sacred movement, this pure movement.
We set each of these aside. We asked for his account. We continued on our way with determination. My brothers, this is the quality that makes the AK Party the AK Party. Remember, we walk by being renewed. We move forward by being refreshed. We are always born again. We say goodbye to those who make mistakes and those who succumb to their own desires, and continue on our way stronger.
"AK PARTY IS A AK PARTY LIKE ITS NAME"
AK Party is a white party as its name suggests. It is a party true to its name. No one can harm the sanity of this party. He cannot stain his mind. My brothers, do not forget that having a new name will not bring anything to them other than getting old. We do not tolerate anyone in this regard. We will not be unfair or disloyal to anyone who has contributed to our party, worked hard and supported this movement. However, we cannot and cannot have anything to do with those who confiscate the state's property and the nation's property. I've said it many times when necessary. If anyone is tired or upset, please step aside and rest. If anyone has lost their love, enthusiasm, and determination to fight, let them take a breather. If he doesn't stand aside, then he should do justice to his cause of serving the nation.
I say it again. Remember, we are all servants of our beloved nation. We do politics not for ourselves, not for our own personal fortune, but for the peace, prosperity, prosperous and victorious future of 86 million. We are waging this difficult struggle, for which we have devoted our lives, for the oppressed and victimized who have turned their direction and face towards our country with hope.
Hopefully, we will work, run and sweat with this intention as much as we can, until our last breath. We will never deviate from the route drawn by the nation. I find it useful to express this here as well. May our dear nation be relieved. Our state and government dominate the agenda. We have been following the issue closely since the first day. We are doing what is necessary with all our institutions. We made important decisions yesterday in our Cabinet and today in our widely attended meeting. We clarified the steps to be taken and determined our road map.
We have established a fully authorized board under the chairmanship of our Vice President to coordinate the process regarding the funds decided to be liquidated. We also appointed our State Supervisory Board. Hopefully we will conclude this process quickly.
'LOOK IN A MIRROR FIRST'
I believe that Türkiye will come out of this issue cleansed. Our economy will emerge stronger from this issue. Our capital markets will have a much healthier structure. The deficiencies will be eliminated and the system will work more efficiently and effectively. My dear brothers and sisters, as you can see, the AK Party family is a big family. Now I see that there are people on the left and right who dare to criticize the great AK Party family based on a few negative examples. There are even rude people who go even further and attempt to criticize the values we are most sensitive about.
We will not thank them. The one who does wrong has done wrong to himself from the very beginning. No one should attempt to disparage the great AK Party family, especially our common values, based on a few unpleasant examples. As I stated yesterday, we are not like others. With all due respect, they took care of those who took bribes in baklava boxes. They supported those who turned municipalities into barren waste. They took care of those whose corruption, injustice, favouritism, extortion and all kinds of dirty mischief relations were exposed. They defended those who robbed Istanbul. They protected the thief, the corrupt, the fraudster and the blackmailer. They defended those who committed various disgraces without blushing. Now they are trying to give us lessons in morality and political ethics without looking at their own black records. I say to them: Get out of there! Did you think this nation had the memory of a fish like you? First, look in a mirror and sort out the rot inside you. If there is still anyone around you, dare to come out and give us advice.
My dear brothers and sisters, we will not listen to them. As always, we will mind our business. We will focus on finding solutions to our nation's problems and troubles. Our job will be the nation until election day. Our strength will be the nation. We will work in the field, we will be in spiritual communication with our citizens. We will never leave the square open to opportunists and exploiters trying to snatch logs from the flood. We will not allow gossip, rumors, slander and nonsense to obscure the truth. We will be alert and vigilant against the centers of discord, and we will not allow our unity and solidarity to be damaged. The relevant mechanisms of the AK Party are working smoothly. Nobody should worry. If there is a problem, we will solve it and get on with our business.
"WHEREEVER THERE IS A PROBLEM, ANKARA WILL SOLVE IT"
In 25 years, we have shown this to the whole of Türkiye: Wherever there is a problem or problem, Ankara will definitely solve it. We have not betrayed the trust you have placed in us so far. I hope everyone can be sure that we will not shake this trust from now on. As a matter of fact, we comply with the requirements of this to the letter.
On the occasion of our latest Türkiye Century Meetings, we once again embraced and united with our nation. We were on the field, city by city, district by district, with all our staff, from our ministers to our vice presidents, from our deputies to our board members, to our provincial, district and neighborhood organizations. We came together with our tradesmen, farmers, workers, youth, brothers and retirees. We held one of the most comprehensive meetings in Istanbul. Our Türkiye Century Meetings have shown once again that the AK Party's greatest strength is this direct and unshakable bond it has established between all segments of society. No one will be able to weaken this bond. I am underlining it again: We have never tolerated any attempt that would harm our cause, that would harm the efforts of our brothers who serve the AK Party with love all over our country, and that would tarnish their pure feelings, and we will not tolerate it from now on either. I pray that our Lord should not separate us from the path of our nation and the path of serving Türkiye.
