Important statements from President Erdoğan

On the occasion of 29 October Republic Day and the Organization of Turkish States Summit, a dinner was organized with the participation of guest heads of state and government and their delegations. President Erdoğan made statements regarding the agenda here.

Highlights from President Erdoğan's speech are as follows:

"I wholeheartedly congratulate all my citizens on October 29 Republic Day. I remember with gratitude all our martyrs and veterans, especially Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, and the esteemed members of our parliament at that time. We are excited to celebrate Republic Day with our family council, our brothers from the Organization of Turkish States.

Our republic, which was declared 103 years ago with the ideal of being the orphan of the homeless, was born as a beacon of hope for the oppressed and victimized people of the world. Over the past 103 years, our republic has not only fulfilled its founding ideals but also taken root in people's hearts. The Republic of Türkiye continues to achieve success with the great achievements it has made in every field.

As a nation, we promise once again today to raise the Republic of Türkiye to the level of contemporary civilizations by paying a heavy price for it. We see that the brother Turkish Republics, with whom we share the same belief, culture and ideals, have achieved great success on the 35th anniversary of their independence. I wholeheartedly believe that, as the Turkish world, we will walk towards our future together in mutual respect and brotherhood, and that we will fight to make the coming period the Turkish century.

Today, I would also like to especially mention the President of Kyrgyzstan, Mr. Chaparov, in accordance with the principle that skill is subject to compliment. He contributed to the deepening of our cooperation in trade, transportation and technological fields, and protected our cultural heritage. Our brother made a significant contribution to the new flag of our family council, on the condition of the Turkish world. "As leaders of the Turkic world, I am pleased to bestow the Order of the Noble Order of the Turkic World on Mr. Chaparov for his valuable contributions to our family council."
