The following is CNPC’s four-point statement. 1. On July 6, 2015, the Taoyuan District Prosecutor’s Office directed the Taoyuan City Investigation Division of the Investigation Bureau of the Ministry of Justice to go to the Taoyuan Oil Refinery to conduct a search, file transfer and interview with Li. The company and its affiliated units actively cooperated with the investigation.

2. After the political conduct team of Taoyuan Refinery listed Li Yuanti as an integrity risk person on July 22, 2015, the plant also adjusted Li’s position to a non-supervisor.

3. The company continues to investigate the relevant purchase cases contracted by the company involved in the case, proactively discovers other abnormal information about the company, and sends a letter of administrative investigation results to Taoyuan City for mediation and investigation on September 1, 2020.

4.
