[Sports Center/Comprehensive Report] The Yankees were jointly blocked by Rays ace Drew Rasmussen and Bryan Baker today. They lost the first game of the Division Series 0-1. The only scoring opportunity in the game was ruined by Austin Wells's base-running error. However, "Jazz Chisholm Jr." still stepped forward to support his teammates.

The Yankees suffered a one-hit shutout today, and the only hit in the game came in the 8th inning. However, Wells, who hit the hit, chose to rush to third base and was eventually caught out. This base-running judgment not only directly ended the inning, but also made the Yankees' only offensive offensive in the game a bubble.

After the game, Chisholm supported Wells, saying that this was the playoffs and Wells was trying to make some miracles happen. "If you look at his baserunning aside from the data, he is really super hard. If they (the Rays) pass the ball crookedly, you never know what will happen."

As for this over-the-top runner, Wells himself said that he had to take risks at that moment. Although the result was a mistake, if it happened again, he might still choose to fight for third base again.
