[Sports Center/Comprehensive Report] The Brewers, the king of the Major League Baseball regular season this year, faced off against the Padres in G1 of the National League Division Series. The head fireball ace "The Miz" Jacob Misiorowski started 4 innings and allowed 2 runs and then retired. The Brewers relied on William Contreras's advance shot in the 7th inning to defeat the Padres 3:2 and take the lead in the series.

Michalowski faced the first batter, Fernando Tatis Jr., at the start of the game. The first ball hit 104.8 miles (approximately 168.7 kilometers), breaking the record for the fastest opening ball in history. The second ball also reached 104.6 miles. These two balls also became the fastest fireballs in the history of the playoffs. When it was time to play, Mischolowski ended up using a 90.6-mile slider to strike out Tatis Jr.

However, the 24-year-old semi-NL Cy Young encountered turbulence in the second inning. After one out, he hit three consecutive singles and allowed 1 run. Then he was hit by an infield ground ball to form a fielder's choice. He lost 2 runs in a single inning, allowing the Padres to score first at their home court. However, the Brewers responded in the third inning. Rising star outfield slugger Jackson Chourio blasted former Cy Young left-hander Robbie Ray and hit a tying 2-point shot with an initial speed of 113.3 miles, making it the most violent hit in this year's playoffs.

After Michalowski got through the turmoil in the second inning, he threw a disguised 6-on-6 in the 3rd and 4th inning, and retired with 88 balls. He roared after the last K in the 4th inning. In this campaign, Mischolowski allowed 4 hits in 4 innings, allowed 2 runs, struck out 6 times, and walked 1 time. The Padre Ray only pitched 2.2 innings and allowed 4 hits and 2 runs. The two teams activated their bullpens early in the game. After 6 innings, the two sides were still tied at 2:2.

In the 7th inning, the Padres sent out fireball left-hander Adrian Morejon, who quickly got two outs. Then he faced Contreras, who had a batting average of only 0.056 against the Padres in this year's regular season, but he paid a heavy price. He was severely caught with a 100.1-mile outside sinker, creating a lead in the center field. Contreras' home run sent the Brewers into a frenzy at home, and was a decisive hit, helping the Brewers win their first series victory.
