Japan's Ishikawa Prefecture to remove giant Chinese company pipes that drifted to shore

The pipe was marked with the name of a Chinese company, but the owner and other information are unknown. The prefectural government will implement removal operations starting from June 15.

Kyodo News reported that the pipe is estimated to weigh about 300 tons, is about 150 meters long, and has a maximum diameter of about 2 meters. It appears to be used for dredging operations.

The Ishikawa Prefectural Government revealed that on December 17 last year, Shiga Town reported that an object that appeared to be a pipe was found floating in the sea.

Japan Broadcasting Association (NHK) reported that the Ishikawa Prefectural Government will start the removal of the pipes from the 15th, and plans to cut them off and transport them to a waste disposal site.
