DPP Taoyuan mayoral candidate Huang Shijie held the "North District Campaign Headquarters Inauguration Meeting" at Chaoyang Park in Taoyuan District on Sunday (18th), inviting President Lai Ching-te, former President Tsai Ing-wen, Executive Yuan Secretary-General Zhang Dunhan, and Transportation Minister Chen Shikai to come to the platform to support him. Huang Shijie said that the "dual presidents" and the star-level cabinet ministers on the same platform will be a strong endorsement for him.

Huang Shijie's southern district campaign headquarters was established on the 3rd, and the establishment meeting of the northern district campaign headquarters will be held on the 18th. Lai Qingde and Tsai Ing-wen will come to the platform. Huang Shijie's camp analyzed that Huang has established a solid land battle online and offline, and then contacted the party's Taipei City Long-term candidate Shen Boyang and New Taipei City mayoral candidate Su Qiaohui have created a companionship effect. Huang Shijie said that Lai Qingde is the current president and chairman of the Democratic Progressive Party. He has high satisfaction in governing the central government and is persuasive enough. Tsai Ing-wen has maintained high popularity after retiring as president, and has won trust and recognition with her past political achievements and positions, and has strong appeal; in addition, internal Cabinet ministers have come to Taoyuan one after another to support him. Zhang Dunhan was the former director of the Information Department of the Taoyuan City Government and is familiar with the Taoyuan Municipal Government.
