During the questioning this morning (16th), Taitung County Councilor Lin Shentian questioned that the confidential secretarial room of the parliament was suspected to be occupied and became the private treasure trove of Speaker Wu Xiuhua’s husband. A large number of antiques were piled up. After asking the parliament to open the door for inspection and being refused, he once held a fire extinguisher and tried to break down the door, but was dissuaded. Council staff said it was a "private space" and they could not open the door without permission.

During the inquiry, Lin Shentian pointed out that there were concerns about a certain room in the parliament, and asked Secretary General Fang Ming to lead the members to open the room directly in accordance with the procedures for handling public issues. However, the chairman of the conference stated on the spot that the question time could not be suspended, and emphasized that although members had the right to take relevant actions, the question time must still count down.
