Daniel Vilela proposes subsidy for public transport around DF

Daniel Vilela (MDB), candidate for the government of Goiás, stated that he intends to subsidize public transport fares around the Federal District. The proposal was presented during an interview with Jornal Anhanguera 1st Edition, this Monday (14).

According to the candidate, the measure will depend on a partnership between the governments of Goiás, Federal and the Federal District. In addition to the fare reduction, Daniel promised investments in the purchase of new buses and the renovation of terminals and platforms.

“Our proposal was that, together with the Federal Government, Government of the Federal District, we can subsidize, reduce fares, make investments, acquire new buses, renovate the terminals, the platforms, so that these workers in the surrounding area can also have decent and quality public transport”, he stated.

Daniel said that it is still necessary to wait for a response from the Federal Government to move forward with the proposal for the requalification and modernization of transport in the region, including a reduction in ticket prices.
