Daniel Vorcaro arrested and bank liquidated: impact on institutions and reaction from powers

Daniel Vorcaro is in prison, his bank has been liquidated and the life he planned to build has been ruined.

It would only be the fate of a transgressor if in the course of illicit acts he had not dragged with him ministers of the Federal Supreme Court, a public prosecutor, parliamentarians at the top of Congress and whoever else has yet to appear involved in this macabre web of co-optation and influence peddling.

As far as we know, the rings are gone. It is now up to the true defenders of the Rule of Law to prevent the fingers from being lost, in the metaphor represented by the pillar institutions of the Republic.

It is up to the commanders of the three Powers to leave passive mode to make themselves available to the imperative of preserving the fairness and reliability of the Presidency, the Supreme Court and the Parliament. For now, the presidents of the Republic, the STF and the National Congress have not shown themselves to be up to the challenge.
