In the Vladimir region, a truck collided with an electric train

The movement of cars at a railway crossing at the scene of an accident in the Vladimir region is organized in one lane, reported the Moscow Railway (Moscow Railway, a branch of Russian Railways).

According to the Moscow Railway, on Sunday at 10.20 Moscow time in the Vladimir region, a truck driver drove onto the tracks in front of the approaching electric train No. 6429 Aleksandrov-1 - Orekhovo-Zuevo. The electric train driver applied emergency braking, but a collision could not be avoided. The driver of the car died. As noted, there were no injuries among the passengers of the train or the locomotive crew.

It is noted that two recovery trains arrived at the scene of the accident, and work began to return the rolling stock to the rails.
