Michelle Bolsonaro expresses support for minister André Mendonça amid the crisis in the STF

Michelle Bolsonaro, former first lady and candidate for Senate in the Federal District for PL, published on Saturday night (5) a message of support for minister André Mendonça, of the STF (Supreme Federal Court), amid the institutional crisis involving the magistrate and Alexandre de Moraes.

In the Instagram post, the former first lady stated that Mendonça is “chosen and anointed by the Lord”. She wrote that the Church loves him and that there are people who pray, cry and rejoice for him.

Michelle also said that Mendonça remained true to his principles and remained strong and courageous. "You were called for this time. Our greatest joy is knowing that you are a great and true man of God", he declared.

The crisis at the STF occurs in the context of investigations into the Banco Master case, reported by Mendonça. The minister removed the confidentiality of the investigations, which indicate a relationship between Daniel Vorcaro, founder of the bank, and Moraes.

The magistrate asked on Thursday (3) that Mendonça be investigated in the fake news investigation for abuse of authority. He stated that his colleague had directed investigations against court ministers, such as Gilmar Mendes, Dias Toffoli, Luiz Fux and Kassio Nunes Marques.
