WHO IS SALİH TANRIKULU?

Born in Ankara in 1974, Tanrıkulu shaped his education and professional life in the fields of public administration, economy, finance and auditing.

Tanrikulu graduated from Ankara University, Faculty of Political Sciences, Department of Public Administration. After his undergraduate education, he completed his master's degree in economics at the University of Illinois in the United States. Tanrikulu, who started his public career in 1997 as the Prime Ministry Deputy Expert, took on various positions within the Ministry of Finance and the Revenue Administration in the following years.

Tanrikulu, who worked in the fields of tax audit and public finance throughout his career, represented Türkiye in working groups within the OECD and the European Union. Tanrikulu, who worked as a Financial Advisor in Brussels between 2013 and 2015, was also a member of the NATO Financial Supervision Board.

Tanrıkulu, who was appointed as a member of the Presidential State Supervisory Board in 2015, served as the Chairman of the State of Emergency Procedures Review Commission from 2017 to January 2023. Tanrıkulu, who became the Deputy Chairman of DDK in November 2023, was appointed Chairman of the State Supervisory Board on June 7, 2024.
