Senate debate at NSC: five candidates talk about expectations and rules of the format

Senate debate at NSC: Lunelli (MDB) is the fifth candidate to arrive and spoke about expectations:

"Look, I believe it is extremely important, since we are talking to all the people of Santa Catarina and putting forward our ideas, listening to the other candidates too, I think it is extremely important for Santa Catarina's democracy. So we, we come here with great joy, right? And being able to put forward, being able to speak, being able to comment, I hope it is extremely positive and it is our Santa Catarina population that really wins, the Santa Catarina democracy wins."

Décio Lima (PT) is the fourth candidate to arrive and spoke about expectations:

"I think it is an important moment to build the necessary reflection of the people of Santa Catarina, to bring to them the responsibility of the values that we belong to, because this election is not just an election to compete for positions, it is an election where humanism is at stake. On one side, very clearly, are those who defend solidarity, love, and on the other side, those who cowardly lie with shamelessness and producing hate. I believe that the debate is important to precisely bring to the people of Santa Catarina the responsibility for your decision on the 4th.”

Esperidião Amin (PP) is the third candidate to arrive and spoke about expectations:

"Look, first, congratulations to the NSC. Our Santa Catarina deserves that whoever is running for office submits themselves to questions, in short, explains who they are and what they want to do, or what they intend to do. So, congratulations to the NSC and I hope that it is useful, the debate, for the clarification of voters, which would compensate and reward the broadcaster's efforts".

Afrânio Boppré (PSOL) is the second candidate to arrive and spoke about expectations:

"The expectation is to clarify political positions, to say that we are in the field of democracy. I am a candidate who represents President Lula in Santa Catarina together with Décio Lima, and to bring our proposals to make it clear that we have a position, we defend democracy and we want to take Gelson Merísio and Angela Albino to the second round".

Jeferson Rocha (PRD) is the first candidate to arrive and spoke about expectations:

"The expectation is very high and I come today with one, not a revelation, not a bombshell, but it is something that is already being investigated by the Judiciary and I come to ask the first question, perhaps I will start the debate with this information which is very important and perhaps decide those who are in doubt or even those who have already decided to vote in relation to one of the candidates for the Senate here in Santa Catarina".
