Two women died and four were injured when a tractor overturned in Demirci

The accident took place in Ali Pınar location of Hırkalı District of the district.

Allegedly, the tractor with plate number 45 ADZ 005, driven by Süleyman B. (65), went out of control and overturned as a result of the driver losing steering control while traveling on the field road.

Upon the notice of the surrounding people, health, fire brigade and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the scene of the accident. During the check-up by the medical teams, it was determined that Gülizar Akgün, who was stuck under the tractor, died at the scene. Other injured people trapped under the tractor; Seher Bilgiç, Nisa Nur B. (10), Fadime B. (62) and driver Süleyman B. were removed from their location with the joint work of the surrounding citizens and fire brigades.

After the first aid at the scene, the injured were taken to Demirci State Hospital by ambulance.

Seher Bilgiç, one of the injured, died in the hospital despite all the interventions of the doctors. Nisa Nur B., one of the injured in serious condition, was sent to Salihli State Hospital, and Fadime B. was sent to Manisa City Hospital.

It was learned that the treatment of driver Süleyman B. continued at Demirci State Hospital.

The bodies of Akgün and Bilgiç, who died in the accident, were taken to the morgue of Demirci State Hospital after the prosecutor's examination. An investigation was launched by the gendarmerie regarding the accident.
