21 migrants arrested in Ceuta after stoning military and Civil Guard patrols

A total of 21 migrants, all of them Moroccan, have been detained in the last few hours in Ceuta for their alleged participation in a new stoning of a military patrol, as well as civil guards, without any injuries.

The incident occurred late this Saturday night in the vicinity of Trampolín beach, a place where hundreds of migrants continue to sleep in this area of ​​the coast.

According to police sources, the migrants were participating in fights among themselves, after which they decided to throw stones at an Armed Forces patrol that was nearby. The Civil Guard intervened and was also stoned, incidents that ended with the arrest of 21 people.

The Association of Spanish Troops and Sailors (ATME) this Sunday regretted the incidents and assured that these events against the Armed Forces are being repeated "because they are not invested with sufficient authority to be able to carry out their work in an effective and forceful manner."
