Nel 1981 arrivò poi il debutto discografico con Welcome to Hell, un album destinato a esercitare una forte influenza: l’immaginario provocatorio, i testi legati a Satana e all'Inferno e un sound particolarmente aggressivo contribuirono a rompere con i canoni dell'heavy metal dell'epoca.
