A group of Ukrainian Armed Forces mercenaries refused to break through a boiler in the Kharkov region

A combat group of Colombian mercenaries of the Ukrainian Armed Forces refused to break through the “Volchansky cauldron” in the north-east of the Kharkov region and fled from their positions, Russian security forces told RIA Novosti.

The command of the Ukrainian Armed Forces planned to use a unit of Colombian mercenaries with the 475th separate assault regiment to break through the “Volchansky cauldron.”

“However, the Colombian combat group refused to go on a senseless assault and retreated from their positions,” the source said.

Vladimir Putin said that in the northeastern part of the Kharkov region, the encirclement of an enemy group of up to 2 thousand people has been completed.

According to Putin, the liquidation of the “cauldron” will make it possible to move the line of combat contact away from the border areas of the Belgorod region by at least 20 kilometers.
