China-Russia Brand Day event held in Moscow

This event brought together nearly 70 Chinese and Russian companies and institutions, covering energy, automobiles and construction machinery, information and communications, high-end manufacturing, food and agricultural products and other fields for centralized display and promotion.

Liu Jun, Minister of the Chinese Embassy in Russia, said that under the current complex international situation, Sino-Russian economic and trade cooperation has demonstrated strong resilience. The two sides should not only continue to expand the scale of cooperation, but also continuously improve the quality of cooperation; they should not only promote trade and investment facilitation, but also pay more attention to risk prevention and institutional connection. Chengtong International has effectively promoted practical cooperation between China and Russia in the fields of automobile manufacturing, engineering machinery, and financial services by holding consecutive Brand Day activities. It is expected that participating companies will make good use of this platform to promote bilateral cooperation towards higher quality.

Khakimov, Vice Chairman of the Russian Penza State Government, said that Penza State attaches great importance to economic and trade exchanges with China, actively cooperates with Chengtong International, and promotes local specialty foods and export potential in Jinhua. In the first seven months of this year, Penza State’s trade volume with China has achieved steady growth, and exports of agricultural products such as meat products and candies have continued to expand. We look forward to not only expanding traditional trade in agricultural products and other areas in the future, but also moving towards joint production and investment cooperation in machinery manufacturing, biomedicine and other fields.

Vice Chairman of the Ryazan Region Government Shivakova said that China is one of Ryazan Region’s most important foreign trade partners. The trade volume between the two parties accounts for about 20% of the state’s total foreign trade and maintains a steady growth trend. She hopes to further promote the export of Ryazan Prefecture's advantageous products such as food, glass, and building materials to China, and attract more high-quality Chinese production capacity to invest in the prefecture to achieve mutual benefit and win-win results.

Sun Bohui, chairman of Chengtong International, said that since the establishment of Greenwood China-Russia Brand Day, it has achieved leapfrog development from serving park enterprises, to focusing on in-depth participation and promotion of state-owned central enterprises, to promoting precise docking between Chinese-funded enterprises and Russian federal entities.
