The night of Victoria Harbor in Hong Kong was gentle on the evening of October 1st. Looking across the Victoria Harbor, Chinese red posters "Celebrating the 77th Anniversary of the Founding of the People's Republic of China" were fluttering in the wind, and celebratory slogans were scrolling on the large screens on the facades of many skyscrapers. Citizens and tourists crowded shoulder to shoulder, looking forward to the National Day fireworks display that night - the highlight of Hong Kong's celebration of the 77th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China.
At 20:00, 31,888 fireworks were launched from 9 release points consisting of 3 barges and 6 small pontoons, spreading a "fireworks screen" 900 meters wide and 250 meters high over Victoria Harbor.

The Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Mr Lee Ka-chiu, said in a speech before the performance that the fireworks patterns that night not only outlined the towering mountains and rushing rivers, showing the majestic momentum of the motherland, but also illuminated the Chinese nation's spirit of courage to explore and pursue dreams of self-improvement.

Among the eight acts of fireworks, "Dream of Flight" simulates the interstellar realm with colorful magic balls and stars, implying the idea of daring to dream and dare to act; "Qingyun Endeavor" uses flashing sparks to show the vigor of the younger generation; in the last act of "The Rising Sun Celebrates the Chinese New Year", golden and red fireworks take turns rising, and the soundtrack switches to "The Sun Comes Out Joyfully", pushing the atmosphere of the performance to a climax.

The child Xia Shengqi, who came to Hong Kong from the Mainland and watched the fireworks on the "Qimeng Hong Kong Pearl of Oriental WAKUKU" cruise ship, pointed to the night sky and shouted: "Mom, look, it's a smiling face firework!" Xia Shengqi described to a reporter from China News Service that the fireworks were colorful and "like countless stars falling down." In addition to the fireworks, Hong Kong student Ms. Choi and her parents also enjoyed watching the night view of Victoria Harbor on the deck. She said that taking a boat ride with her parents to watch the fireworks during the National Day was a precious memory: "This is the happiness of our little family.
