Mexican boxer Arturo Torres dies after knockout

Mexican boxer Arturo Torres died a few days after being knocked out. This was reported by the promotion company Supreme Boxing on Instagram (owned by the Meta corporation, recognized as extremist and banned in the Russian Federation).

“We are in mourning after the death of Arturo Tores, who died six days after he was hit by Gilberto Garcia. After the fight, Torres remained in the ring before falling; he received medical attention and was then transported to a Mexican hospital for treatment, where he died due to his injuries,” the organization said in a statement.

On September 19, Torres lost to Garcia by knockout in the seventh round. He had 15 wins (6 by knockout), 6 losses and 3 draws.
