According to the prosecutor's office, the suspect confessed to the charges and provided explanations. The District Court in Bolesławiec agreed to the prosecutor's request and arrested the suspect for three months.

On Friday evening, the Police Headquarters announced the death of the officer who was shot. 29-year-old Sgt. pc. Natan Sieroń from the District Police Headquarters in Bolesławiec died in hospital. Therefore, the prosecutor's office announced that the charges against the 33-year-old would be changed to murder.
