Detention of teenagers in Sulejówek and Warsaw after the robbery of Ukrainian citizens

Two of the detainees are 15 years old, the others are 17. The teenagers attacked a 42- and 19-year-old Ukrainian woman, threatening them with an object resembling a weapon and demanding money. A total of 5.5 thousand people were looted. PLN and documents.

The officers determined that one of the detained 17-year-olds had earlier, on July 15, robbed one of the same women. Then he took PLN 1,500 from her. The incident was not reported to the police. However, a detailed analysis of the collected information and evidence allowed the 17-year-old to also be associated with this crime.

Three Ukrainians were detained on the streets of Sulejówek, the fourth was arrested in Warsaw.

The 17-year-olds were charged and, at the request of the prosecutor, they were imprisoned for three months. The fate of the 15-year-olds was decided by a family court and placed them in a shelter for minors.

"Zero tolerance for foreigners"

As Czesław Mroczek, Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs and Administration, said in a Morning conversation on RMF FM, Polish officers operate in accordance with the principle of "zero tolerance for violations of the legal order by foreigners."
