The investigation into the fire at the Starlink station in Wola Krobowska may be transferred to Warsaw

The investigation is to go from Grójec to Warsaw, among others. due to the importance of this procedure. The services tend to believe that the arson could have been ordered by Russia. The Masovian department of the National Prosecutor's Office has the most experience in this type of cases and specializes in investigations of sabotage, sabotage and espionage.

On Thursday, investigators were securing traces in the Starlink database. As RMF FM reporter Krzysztof Zasada found out unofficially, they found there, among others: a bottle with a substance that could have been used to start a fire. A surveillance camera recorder was also secured and its recordings will now be examined in detail. Mobile location data is also analyzed.

Mysterious fire and political comments

A fire at the station in Wola Krobowska in Masovia broke out on Wednesday evening. Three firefighters worked on site. No one was injured.

At the base station there are several white ball-shaped antennas with a diameter of approximately 2 meters. The area is surrounded by a tin fence.

Exatel announced that it provides land sublease services in Wola Krobowska and provides data transmission services there. It does not have its own terrestrial or satellite infrastructure in this area.

No Exatel infrastructure was destroyed as a result of these activities, and the event did not affect the current operation of services and the security of the Exatel network, the company said.

A few hundred meters from the damaged station there is a military Electronic Warfare Reconnaissance and Support Center.

Wherever strange arson fires occur, we should assume that we are dealing with possible sabotage or sabotage - this is how the deputy head of the Ministry of Defense Cezary Tomczyk commented in an interview with RMF FM reporter Michał Dobrołowicz on the information about the fire in Wola Krobowska. We need to build resilience. Russia uses quite simple methods - they commit arson and acts of sabotage. They cause social upheaval throughout Europe, he added.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs recommends additional security measures in places of such importance as the area of ​​the Starlink satellite communications ground base station. The deputy head of this ministry, Wiesław Leśniakiewicz, spoke about it in a conversation with RMF FM reporter Michał Dobrołowicz.
