Edoardo Bove: the documentary 'In a beat' presented at the Rome Film Festival 2026

The story of Edoardo Bove arrives at the cinema with 'In un batte', a documentary film on Edoardo Bove directed by Giovanni Troilo, which will be premiered at the Rome Film Festival 2026 in the Special Screening section.

The film recounts the months following December 1, 2024, when, during Fiorentina-Inter, Bove collapsed on the pitch and was immediately taken to hospital where doctors found a serious cardiac arrhythmia. "The docufilm was born from the desire to make sense of what happened to me and to transform a personal experience into a message that can be useful to others" are the words of Bove who also underlines how "what happened to me led me to look differently at time, at the experiences and opportunities that life has offered me even off the pitch. This film also tells about this: the possibility of testing oneself, of facing difficult moments and of not giving up".

Produced by No Name Entertainment, Alea Film with Rai Cinema, in collaboration with Sky, in collaboration with Chiarafama, 'In a beat' will then be released in cinemas on 16, 17 and 18 November.
